The theme for the eight windows comes from the name of the church- St.
Luke's. Starting with the left front window and proceeding
counterclockwise, each window depicts a scene from the life of Jesus as
told in the gospel according to St. Luke. Luke's gospel tells how Christ
came to preach the Good News and spent His life serving those in need.
The colors in the border around each window relate to the liturgical
colors of the church year.
The windows were designed by Stanley Hildreth and crafted by Gaytee
Stained Glass Company of Minneapolis. They were completed in 1988.
It is hoped that all who view them will learn from their message, and
find inspiration and comfort.
